DisConnect brings in a lot of new updates to make your selling experience better this March 2021. Here’s a glimpse of all the new features we bring to you.
- 1. Product Details:
In addition to the features in the previous roll-out, we now give you the following features as well
- Editing Inventory Quantity
Stock for your products can be updated to sync across all platforms here in the DisConnect Product Details section. Upon updation of the stock here, Your Inventory levels will reflect on your e-commerce platforms & marketplaces and the product will re-list on Discogs automatically as long as you have more stock available.
- Updating Release ID
Release ID of your products can be updated in DisConnect which will fetch the new valid release data from Discogs & the data gets updated in DisConnect and your other connected channels.
- 2. Inventory Management feature updates
DisConnect has added a lot of new features related to Inventory Management
- Inventory Status
When you sell an item on Discogs, you now have the option to either put it as Draft or Expired. The same applies for Shopify, you have an option to set it as Draft or leave it as default which makes your product “Out of Stock” which appears on your listings for customers.
- Export Frequency
Since a lot of users requested to disable the Discogs’ Inventory Export notification, we now give you the option to choose how frequently we export your inventory from Discogs. Although we would recommend you to keep 3 hours. If you were to keep it as 0, we would force an automated sync from the backend when there is a mismatch in product count across your connected channels.
- Inventory Threshold
When you sell across multiple platforms or even on your brick & mortar store, you would prefer to reserve inventory levels to sell on a certain platform to ensure you get maximum profitability out of it.
DisConnect provides you to set a Threshold for Discogs in the channel settings section. For Discogs, we don’t relist should your product inventory drop below the threshold inventory and for eBay, the product listing gets created with a lesser threshold quantity. This also can have different thresholds for different products by going to the product details section of that product.
- 3. Error Resync Settings for all your channels:
DisConnect now gives you the option to resync any product which has failed the sync due to any kind of errors along with a description of the error you’re facing. The products can be resynced by clicking on the “Re-sync” button. This section can be accessed by clicking on the “Errors” in the Dashboard should there be any errors.
- 4. Category Mapping updates for your E-commerce channels
Our mappings are now smarter & more intuitive than ever. Our mapping is smart enough to find the next closest matching rules if your product does not have a product created for the best match. This way most of your products are segregated into proper categories on your e-commerce platforms instead of falling into the default mapping by default when there is no exact match.
- 5. New Shipment Integrations – Featuring Shipstation
In addition to Royal Mail, we now also support Integration of Shipstation. Which means you can now sync your orders from Discogs or eBay directly to your Shipment Platform with all the relevant information directly. We also send a fulliment message back to your customers with information like the tracking number & the tracking URL.
